After Natalee the sister of photographer & founder Emily Haldeman was diagnosed with familia multiple melanoma, Dysplastic nevus syndrome. She was encouraged to seek medical grid imaging to create a reference point for her care team and herself when considering future biopsies. At the time the only location for such imaging was at a local university. Natalee found that the services were extremely expensive, would only provide one set of 8x10 prints and the overall experience would be cold and clinical.
Thats when she asked Emily to help her generate the same reference point of images but in an empowering & humanizing setting and with a final product that could be used digitally & enlarged on the spot when there is a mole or freckle in question.
